Luke's 1st Day of Preschool

Luke started preschool this week. Technically it isn't a formal preschool but it is as close to preschool as we get here in Dominica. In the fall he will be in a pre-K class but for now he goes each morning to the daycare on campus at Ross Preparatory School. They sing songs, play instruments, read stories, art projects and free play. We decided to enroll Luke in the program because whenever we were on campus and walked by the Prep School, Luke would cry. He begged to go to school and be with the other children. How could we deny him after that?
The smiling Luke before heading out the door.
Morgan and Luke ready to go!
Let's go Daddy! When Morgan dropped Luke off on Monday, he said that Luke went right in and started playing. He then told Morgan: "I feel much better now." What a big step for my little man!

Way to go Luke! That is so cool that Luke is in school now. Hyrum is dying for some sort of organized activity again. Now that his cast is off I think I'm going to sign him up for swimming lessons again. In the fall we are hopefully going to do Joy School if we are able to get another kid to join the group. I can't believe how grow-up Luke is now. What a BIG BOY!

Luke looks so big. He sure is a handsome little devil. I think y'all will have to be fighting off the women for him when he gets older. Emma loved preschool and it sounds like Luke does too. That is so cool. Plus you get a little one on one time with Miriam. That is my favorite... the one on one time with the kids.
