This morning Luke got the hard cast put on. While the bones looked a little crooked still, the doctor seemed confident that they would grow straight within 6 months to a year. So now Luke will be in this cast for 6-8 weeks. Arrgh! No swimming for us!
Afterwards we went to the Supermall for the kids to play. No cast can stop The Luke! While Luke and Miriam were standing on top of one of the structures an older lady next to me just turned her head and said, "I can't bear to watch that kid with the cast on top of that!" I guess she thought that he was destined for another broken arm by being up there. Anyway, Luke is adjusting well to his new Iron Man arm and trying to be as silly and cute as always.

It is way sad that he broke his arm with summer coming, but he is super cute with his little cast on. Glad he is adjusting well!
Nothing can stop these little guys from having fun! Hyrum was the same way with his leg cast. He's run, dance and hop around. You just can't take away all of their fun just because they are in a cast. Good luck and we hope the time in the cast passes quickly for you.
Kids will be kids. It's hard to slow them down if you wanted to, but it's good he's still being a kid. Let him climb, he'll be just fine!
Don't you just love strangers opinions sometimes. :) Sheesh. He is a Kid! What did she expect?
Glad he is happy and back to the same old Luke. :)
