It has started to get HOT here. Each time we go to Tina's (one of the few grocery stores here), I always get Luke a juice box to enjoy once we get home in the hopes that it will cool him down. However, Miriam has decided that she is now old enough and hot enough to have her own juice box too. Ah, her desire to be independent and to be treated as Luke's equal has set in!
Our friends, the Hales, left the island last week. Before leaving Bethany brought over lots of their old toys. Luke and Miriam have really enjoyed playing with all their "new" toys. Miriam discovered that if she took the cookware play set out of the bucket, that she could create a nice head ornament. She runs/toddles all around the apartment with the bucket on her head and makes funny sounds. Luke tried it after watching Miriam but his head was too big!

I just can't believe how big your kids are. Time flies so fast! Can you believe that Oroville was 8 years ago? When did I get so old? Your kids are cute!

Wow, what happened to your baby! She's all grown up and is a true toddler now. Does that make you feel like you want another one soon? I can't believe how fast kids grow up. In comparison to ourselves it really makes me feel like I don't do much and am the same yesterday, today and forever....but they keep growing, learning and changing everyday, it's fascinating!
Hi Kristin! I've been wondering how you are doing and it's so good to see that you have a blog (I found you through Corey's blog). I can't believe how big Miriam is, which is hilarious because she is the same age as Inge. For some reason, I expected her to be the same as the little Miriam who left, not big like my little girl! Hyrum received your "Get Well" card yesterday. He loved it! Thanks! He was so proud to open mail that was just for him and so excited that it was from Luke. Of course after opening it he immediately wanted to play with Luke. Did Morgan have a good time at the convention promoting Ross? I hope he had a nice break and could relax from all of the studying for a while. We hope you are all doing well! We miss you!
